"Welcome to Murray Family Farms!"

Driving between Bakersfield and Tehachapi along Highway 58, you will find yourself visually marking your journey's treck with a Cherry Water Tower which sets North amongst tall palm tree clusters and yellow rose bushes numbering in the thousands. Diverse farming activities stake their endeavors against the golden foothills on this side of highway. You are in land of Murray Family Farms.

Murray Family Farms is a "Grown RIPE Here” Farm with a Farmer’s Market and U-Pick on-the-farm fresh experience. They harvest more than 1,000,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables annually on 43 acres of road side gardens. They are committed to growing most of what they sell and selling most of what they grow through their two Farmer Market locations and other local farmer's markets.

The family oriented Main Farmer's Market location offers a children’s play area, petting zoo, baby farm animals, and is the only farm in Kern County to offer Hay Rides and “Pick Your Own” fruit and vegetable crops. They pride themselves on striving to create fond memories for their visitors.
